Global a Xerox company aquires ComDoc

The number 1 Ricoh dealer in the country now a Xerox company. What's your thoughts, is this good or bad for our industry with the current economic conditions.

It will start selling Xerox document management products once the purchase closes, scheduled for the first quarter.

Wow, it's one thing for Canon to just drop Ikon after the Ricoh purchase, but that transistion (from Canon to Ricoh) I would think will go smoother on the Ikon techs as a good portion of them already work on Ricoh and Canon. I'm guessing Comdoc techs didn't touch anything Xerox, other than rebadged Sharp. Also, the article didn't say what would happen to the Sharp side of the Comdoc business. Are they to continue selling Sharp?
