    Looking for a copier type

I was looking for a black and white copier that I remember from 10 years time ago. Basically it was for larger runs and made an impression on carbon paper and then ran through a few hundred at a time? I do not recall if it was toner based or not.

It was not an offset copier I believe.

Not sure what an offset copier is, that must be before my time.

Ricoh do a few called the Priport:

Digital Duplicators, Duplication Solutions, Document Duplication, Office Solutions, RICOH

They are ink-based and really can batter the copies out. I'm sure other manufacturers do them too.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

    Possibly a Riso.

Riso's are ink based and create a 'Master' which then places an impression on to the stock going through the machine.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
