Leasing Used Machines (Looking for finance options for my clients)

I posted a question similar to this about a month ago but I'll try again.

Does anybody lease or finance used/off lease equipment? What banks will do that? I want to be able to offer that to my new clients and not make them pay cash.

    Thanks
    Gary

You can set up a lease on used equipment, We do it all the time. The problem is that the equipment your leasing needs to have enough "value" to the leasing company to make it a worth while deal. No one is going to give you $5,000 - $10,000 with of lease dollars if the asset you are leasing is a 6 year old POS that's only worth about $2,200. We use GE Capital as our primary lease vendor but I know that DLL, and Great America will also do it if the numbers are right. Try calling Great America, they seem to be eager to find new business lately and I know they have some decent options available.

    Good Luck!
