Not sure if this is a national thing but around my area the Salvation Army is having a pre-black friday sale on November 18th. The whole store is 50% off.

Sometimes they have some cool stuff, nostalgia items, nice artwork, I got a nice antique iron patio furniture set there once for a steal...maybe your thing, maybe not. Just passing info along.
