I was wondering what you all were doing with disposable type drum, development, and fusing units.
Seems a waste to file them in the circle file. Is anybody selling them to a re-manufacturer.

depends on which manufacturer you are working with.
There are companies like Katun and Fusion Image Technologies that will buy certain types of cores back
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.
Sometimes stuff just wears out, and reconditioning is a bigger waste of time and resources than replacing with new.
We tear the old fusers and drum units apart and recycle the aluminum, stainless steel and steel rollers. Take to scrap yard for beer money.
Yes, i agree with you, so i suggested "REMAN", not "Fix" or "Repair", had about 7 years experience about remanufacturing, it's very rare to to see failure from production line, of cause people have to know how to do the job. Probably i have gone too far from the topic, sorry.
