My boss is thinking about putting up ads on craigslist.. with a cash incentive for a lead that results in a sale...
I was wondering if that is legal in florida?

Sad To Say I Don't Have a Life
I do this stuff on the weekends too
what would be illegal about this?
2000 mockingbirds = 2 kilomockingbirds
A lot of people do this legally. They sell things and we pay them a commission. We call them salesmen.
Just because there isn't any base pay involved, doesn't change the basic concept. If they actually give good advice and know a little about the product, they get a slightly larger commission. You could be one too. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Spotters fee :
In Australia if you buy a large price item and you tell a friend, and your friend in turn buys the same product from the same company, that company will pay you what is called a "spotters fee". Even though you have nothing to do with sales or selling what so ever. So in effect you have reduced the price of your own purchase. It can be pay to you even if you did not purchase any thing yourself, but your friend did.
Spotters fee is common amoung car salesman. I have never used the spotter fee service in real life, but I have received the offer of it from salesman a couple of times.
