    C5045 removing finisher?

Ok, need to remove finisher while ordering parts. When we do it says remove paper from output tray when client tries to copy. Any ideas how to bypass that?

it is canon imagerunner advanced c5045

Ok got got that figured out and now it jams when printing. Looks like it tries to duplex and jams when pull back in. Walk up and copy duplex is fine.

You also have to remove the bridge.

When the sorter is first installed you have to remove a paper sensor arm for the exit. You will have to reinstall this arm.
Always handy to keep the parts you remove when installing accessories. You never know when you will need them again!

I think the exit sensor arm is the same shape as an iRC3380 style exit sensor. If you have spares of them try that.

So that's why it jams on print and not copy? I don't follow

    Good point...........

Do the copies and prints exit out of the same tray? There is an exit you can enable on the RHS of the MFP. Apart from that.......you got me!

When it does face down delivery when printing it probably jams. Run 3 sets of 3 originals thru document feeder(copying)...probably try to deliver face down and jam. Yes you need to re-install the delivery arm assemblies.....
