    Clear the CMOS after installing a new power supply to ensure compatibility between the new component and the previous settings stored in the BIOS.

    TO CLEAR THE CMOS
    1. Shut down and open the imagePASS NOTE: Make sure that you remove the AC power cable from the power outlet before you open the imagePASS and clear the CMOS.
    2. Remove the battery
    3. Wait two minutes to allow the motherboard electrical components to fully discharge.
    4. Reinstall the battery
    5. Reassemble the imagePASS and verify its functionality
    6. Reset date and time in Setup

    Or*********

    check the following;

    1. Make sure Img-Cont is set to "3" in service mode Copier/Option/Int-Face.
    2. Make sure the DIP switches on the imagePass are both in the down position.
    3. Check the cables used to connect the imagePass to the copier.

    Regular Patch Cable: goes from imagePass to customer LAN.
    Cross Over Cable: goes from imagePass to side of machine.

    Tip, there should be a link light on the imagePass when the correct cable is plugged into the C2 printer RJ45 connection. Also the two digit display on the imagePass must read 00 indicating successful hardware boot.

    If no luck, disconnect all connection from image Pass to printer

    Now you set setting of IMG CONT from "3" to "0" power off printer.
    Now reconnect all cables from C2 to printer, power up, go back in to IMG CONT & set back to "3", now power off\ on printer and wait.
    Put back in your Network settings.
