Error is always 0101 on PS10 stationary, or delay 0201 if it's from the second drawer.

I have a feeling the registration actuator is your problem even though you say it's barely worn, it doesn't take much to mess it up. I have actually been able to bring the bracket the lever sets in closer to the front but you have to be careful because too much and your lever will not be able to move in the holder properly. I had a machine just this morning that was jamming every time just out of the fuser and it was those darn pads!

I hope somebody can help me here, as I'm running out of ideas.

I have an issue on ir3570. It constantly jams 0101 on ps10, either stationary or delay.
Paper is always stuck half way through the fuser.

Unit already got gray vertical path rollers (FB6-4852) and upgraded lower door assy (FM3-1296).

I've put new registration sensors (FL2-6580) and swapped pickup assemblies around. I've also removed dumper on ps9 and cleaned the sensors. Same story.

It prints/copies fine from manual feed, so I've ruled out any fuser related issues.

It has old style preregistration flag, no metal jacket, but hardly any wear (15mm), so I don't think it needs a replace.

    Any thoughts ?

    Thanks,
    John

If the paper always stuck up in the fuser, grease the fuser (with the proper grease) to ease the the film circulation, it happens to me every time.

I'm waiting for parts to coming at the moment. Will be on site next week again to replace the actuator. I will check out the pads you've mentioned as well.

    As bypass works everytime, I don't think it's fuser-related.

Re: ir3570 persistent jam on PS10

I was working on a 4570 this morning so I took some pictures just to show you where all the pads are, it's good to get them out of there even if this isn't the fix for your present issue. There are four pads under this guide approximately where I've circled.

You can't see it really well, but this is one of the pads

There are seven pads on this piece.

Also, if you have this build up you should clean it with alcohol

You don't have to go wild, just clean the ridges and where paper contacts the plastic, like this

These two one-way bearings can give you jamming issues also

    I hope this helps.

My IR 3045 Do the same
the Paper stops in the middle of the fixing unit. when i removed the paper it is folded like an accordion.

I tried all 4 trays and did the same thing
    Paper Orientation: Portait

I did notice that when i place the paper in Landscape it works much better but will jam after couple of copies and some of the copies have fold in the middle. so it goes out of the machine shorter than other copies.
    Error: 1017, 0202, 0102, 0201

All sensors checked, - not sticking
    right door flapper check
    Fixing unit rolls fine

    Paper: SUB20/70gsm

Ok, does the machine have a Genuine Canon Fixing Film Assy fitted?

i got my issue fixed by cleaning the solenoid:
There's a worn foam that turns sticky and delays paper out.

Re: ir3570 persistent jam on PS10

Well, as it turned out, it was registration actuator related after all.

I have put new one in, but that by itself wasn't enough, I had to bend bracket a bit to bring it forward and it went through without a hitch after that. Both A4 and A4R ran fine on single or duplex.

Thanks guys for your help !
