    Canon ir8500

    hello iam facing a weird problem in this machine the blade is not cleaning well , i always after 100k it started to not clean well , i changed a new Blade also the blade body and change all the drum unit and still after a few copies it make the copies not clean is theres any adjustment for this i also checked the waste axe located on the rear of the machine it looks good .

    Hi i meant the copy or the prints got dirty line in the middle when i removed the drum i saw the line on the drum seems the blade is not cleaing well , so i replaced it with new one after 300 k same problem occuar ,i changed drum also i changed the blade unit assembley and also same problem . Could it be high voltage ?!

    That is not a blade issue.I encountered the same problem and these are the probable causes;
    1.The the main charger(primary corona) above the drum could be dirty.
    2.If the primary corona wires are worn out,replace them.
    3.The could be an over charge from the HVT,try to do an adjustment on the HVT-DE under DEVELOP on service mode ie
    COPIER>ADJUST>DEVELOP>HVT-DE.Adjust accordingly upwards postively until the copy clears.

    Thank you my friend ,honestly i debout in hv pcb cos the machine was at our workshop and my technicians told me that the replace the high voltage board. Regards,
