Is this an imagePress_?
It has been noted that a faulty Patch Sensor Shutter Driver Motor has been the cause of the machine displaying an E018 with the 0x13 subcode.
The Patch Sensor Shutter Driver Motor A.K.A. the Drum Patch Sensor Cleaning Motor (M135, M129, M117, M123) with current part number FL2-6138-000 which is the same for all 4 motors (one for each color).
Swap motors to see if code moves over to that one.

Will try switching. It is an Imagepress.
Is there a way to test the motor before installing to see if it is working?
So Now I get the code E000018-0313-5, I guess this is the fact that I changed from K to C positions.
Don't know if this post went through previously but I the switch and got the code e000018-313-5. So am I correct to assume that this would confirm that it followed from the Black to the Cyan?
MODEL ???
what were u working on before error
it is possible that Toner or Developer may enter the Drum’s Patch Sensing Sensor Unit , preventing the Shutter from opening or closing properly
on a imagePRESS C6000 / C6000VP / C7000VP

swap motors--see if error switches over to other color

E018 0x13 error code with the subcode 0x13 refers to the Drum Patch Sensor Shutter in when the shutter does not move to home position when initialized.
1. Check the open/close operation of the film shutter by moving the drum patch sensor shutter solenoid (SL400 to 403) => Clean and re-install it if necessary.
2. Check that the wire is set around the pulley => Re-install it if necessary.
3. Replace the following parts if necessary.
- Drum patch sensor shutter solenoid
- Patch sensor shutter solenoid open sensor (PS401 to 404)
The Drum Patch Sensor Cleaning Motor (M135, M129, M117, M123) depending on the color in question and/or the Patch Sensor Cleaning Motor home position sensor (PS215, PS206, PS202 and PS208) .
--Faulty Patch Sensor Shutter Driver Motor
--There have been cases where the whole Developer Rail Assembly needed replacement due to the bent developer unit saddle plate.
If this is the issue, then the shutter will not come in to contact with the drive motor mechanism and therefore cause the error code. The part number for the Developer Rail Assembly
