Canon ImageRunner 105
Good evening CopyTechNet. I have a customer who I will not go into the long story but purchased 2 Canon IR 105 that come up with error code E602-033 which is bad segments of the HDD. I have done the 1+9 PO to check HDD and result is the same on both. Every dealer local and within 150 miles will not touch this machine as they have discontinued service and supplies. If I remove the HDD and all boards pertaining to the print feature, is it possible to make this machine a "Copier" only without causing any issues.
Any Help in this matter would be greatly appreciated

Re: Canon ImageRunner 105
This printer will not function without HDD.
You could have_
1.Defective Boot DIMM.
2.Defective RAM. (swap with a known working Boot DIMM) (swap with known working RAM). 3.Defective or Corrupt System Software (re-format HDD and re-load System Software).
4.Defective HDD.
5.Defective Resolution Switch PCB.
6.Defective Main Controller. (replace HDD and perform full format then load System Software) (“Send” enabled models only) (replace Main Controller with a New Main Controller)
