Canon Ir 3245- Toner add Problem
This machine keeps saying to add toner. I have tried several OEM toner bottles. The problem is the toner bottle is not latching properly and therefore not rotating to add toner. I can go out to the location and get the bottle to rotate after messing with it for a while. I have replace the entire assembly (p/n: FM3-4396-010). Even after replacing the assembly the bottle still did not rotate on its own. I finally got it to work again but it doesn't stay working. Has anyone seen this before. Thanks in advance

The cam that racks the toner bottle in when you lock the blue handle cracks causing this issue.
But i've found simply pulling the toner bottle towards the front after replacing it reslovles this issue.

Thanks. I put in a brand new toner assembly that includes the cam. Still the same issue. Unfotunately, pulling the bottle out is only a temporary fix. What happens when they put in a new toner? These clients are 50 miles out of town and I can't go out every time they put in a new toner.

When they put in a new toner just tell them to pull it forward then close the door.
I would also check the developer unit to make sure the toner is actually filling the unit.

COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>DC-CON hit ok. Make sure to do a P-PRINT first so you can re enter values if they change.
