    E025-0100 IRADVC2020

After changing the Magenta drum unit for poor copy quality the machine started displaying E025-0100 when a
    color copy is ran.

I saw other threads on here and it was mentioned that there is a cable that goes from the DC Controller to a sensor

on the toner hopper. Does anyone know the part number of that cable.

I know the manual says to check DC Controller due to a fuse blowing.

and check wiring. Also check hopper for Magenta.

Just want to know the number of that cable or any tech pubs associated with that code.

E025-0100 is occurring at power on.___?

    :-!
In this case, clipping wire ties from J24 on the DC Controller to the magenta toner feed assembly resolved the error code.
The part number for the magenta toner feed assembly is FM3-8085-000.

It doesn't throw the code on start up. The error occurs when I attempt to run a color copy. It will run black copies okay with no code.

The machine stops with the paper halfway through the fixing assembly then codes out.

Put the old drum back in if you can and test, these new drums can cause problems.

Tried that. I have had that happen before putting in drums and getting codes.

This time it didn't help. I ordered a magenta hopper and will try that.

I tried a new magenta hopper assembly and switched D C Controllers. Ater a few copies I go the same code again.

I guess go after wiring. If I understand it correctly it is the harness that goes from J24 on the Controller to a sensor

    on the hopper?

The problem was in the wiring.

    Re: E025-0100 IRADVC2020

I got a E0025-000-05-0D on a 2220i yesterday. Inside of the printer was a mess (toner) including laserglass. Cleaned up the whole bunch. Tested and seemed good apart from a big white line on yellow. Then, after a few prints the error came back .

I found the yellow drum wasn't rotating at that point ? Reseating helped, but again, only for a few copys'. And again, it leaked quite some yellow toner. I ordered a new Yellow drum anyway, but maybe i need to take a look at the wiring to ? I don't quite get what you guys do when you clip the wiring harness ?
