    Thumbs down canon IR 3300i Code e000

    unit had a E000 code ,I replace the fuser unit ,the unit came to ready and printed what it had in memory ,left the customer and five minutes later the same code came back , any suggest.

    Check tho wall voltage and reseat all connecters on the DC controller.

    code E000 ir3300

    there could be some loose connections on its pin connections.??or have you reset the error code after replacing the fuser unit.?have you tried to cleaned the cleaning roller below..i hope i could have help???

    These units are notorious for having fuser temp errors when there is dirty or unstable power, especially if the customer is running off a generator. You could try putting a power filter on the machine (a proper one, not one of those cheap surge protectors). There was also an update to the system software many years ago to fix an issue during cooler weather that caused these codes because it was too sensitive to temperaure changes.

    Yes this is true. The early IR3300 also had defective power supplies but that was corrected before the"I" series was introduced.

    just An update I went back to the customer and troubleshoot the unit again . I look at the new fuser unit and seen that the lower fuser gear was touching the connecter, then I looked at the other side and seen the the bushing was broken. I got a new unit coming in to replace this one. I will post again when the job done.

    Put new unit in and that fix the problem.

    I have similar error code E000000-0000 and it says contact technician, pls what can i do to resolve this issue. there's no cannon specialist where i am. (on a ship)

    The normal fix is to replace or rebuild the fuser assembly - just like he did. If you are on a ship, without parts, and no tech - very little. If you remove the fuser and take it apart, AND ARE VERY LUCKY, you may find a slip of paper jamming the film.
