Will dust/ back ground for the first 5 or 6 pages.
Darkest on the lead edge and is lighter to the trailing edge.

This is the name and part number
Iv'e seen these on Ricoh before and they would leave a back ground as well
I just changed the ETB cleaning blade and would solve the problem. Any suggestions.

Re: IRA6055 Lead edge dusting- Back ground

Any one out there had this problem...Thinking im going to change the transfer belt next.
Could it be a Bias problem, seen that on the old Ricoh Box's...... any suggestions ??
I like the transfer belt on higher speeds over Corona Wires ...way more reliable..

    Thanx again IW

There is a transfer roller in the ETB assembly, it goes bad sometimes
    The bearings seize up too.
Sometimes you need to replace the whole assembly, modified ones have no springs to pinch when installing or removing

Re: IRA6055 Lead edge dusting- Back ground

Thanks guys...This ones kinda got me baffled..(love this system thou, works way better than corona wires)
The old Ricohs were exactly the same, just replace the cleaning blade and you were good to go.
I think transfer roller controls the Bias ( could be wrong don't have a manual yet)
but will check the bearings and condition of the roller, cleaning unit and the Dev again.

    Thanks
    will post sample
