    Ir5000 Oldie But A Goodie. HELP PLEASE

    my canon's have been running great for years. I am in need if help. I put a new ADF separator pad in the ir5000 and put everything back together and there no power to the adf, there is a metal lever that if you push it, the feed wheels go up and down. PLEASE HELP me. the wife and I have a big job to do today, about 4500 originals complete with having to pull staple out and everything. Thanks in advance. Also, when you take the adf cover of on the non operator side there is a red light blinking on the circuit board. HELP PLEASE, I will give whoever helps me a Dollar.

    Also there is no codes, just the blinking red light on the adf circuit board.

    sounds like something isnt'plugged in fully
    go back and recheck your work
    basically if you disconnected stuff and it doesn't work after you didn't get it reconnected

    Or you blew up a board

    Hope you had powered down machine and unplugged before working on it

    That was exactly the problem. I have a CE000003-000 fuser code, the machine cuts off before I can get in service mode. I thought maybe the fuser over heated because we have been running it all day for 2 days now. Any thoughts on this problem? Thanks you sir for your help.

    Keep the front doors open when you reboot. SB able to get into service mode before it clicks out. Rest fuser code under function/clear/ERR/OK.
