    Canon IRC3580

    Hi Guys

Any idea how old these models are?

I have a friend that has been quoted on a new one of these machines, but i have hear that they are quit old. And according to the brochure the latest OS supported is Windows Vista.

NO they are certainly not new! I would tell your friend not to bother & to go with a later generation IRAC2230 series if he doesn't do full colour all the time this model is great.

If however he wants to do a lot of quality full colour prints them the IRAC5235 series would be better.

if he works on his own machine the cleaning on the 2230 series can be more difficult to get parts and to clean. The 5051 series is a lot more friendly to work on.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

Really ? I think replacing the ITB or cleaning the laser is a lot easyer to do on a 22xx...

The iR advance C52xx is much more robust than the advance C22xx. But the new advance C33xx are very reliable and the new paper pickup rollers last forever.

    Cool Re: Canon IRC3580

You get what you pay for

And you're buying them way less often
