    Re: imagepress 7010 anti-fraud?

Hi everybody, sorry for the delayed response. (I was out sick for a couple days.) Today I tried all of the above suggestions, no luck. While I was out the software for the rip arrived so I installed that and connected it to the machine, tried to send a test print from the rip but the machine threw a E747-9115 shut down and restarted tried to send the same test print then got E677-0080, so I reseated everything on the main board, seems that the Boot ROM was not seated completely. Started the machine sent the same test print, this time it printed with no error codes, unfortunately images still have tracks however they are magenta instead of the blue ones that are on copies from the glass. Decided to try disabling and unplugging the scanner but that yielded no change.

Is the fraud protection part of the main board or is it on one of the sub boards? I believe the Canon tech replaced the third board from the top but I didn't see him do it so I can't swear to it... Thanks again for your time...

Reader connectors or on main controller.(J3003 Reader communication I / F connector) or reader sub pcb.

Try reseating the drum-to-drum delay memory control board DRM (256) PCB which is for magenta color data on the Main Controller PCB (Main-P) .
There are 3 boards with each board representing each of the colors except for yellow which is built in to the Main Controller PCB.
The black and cyan boards which are denoted as number 17 and 16 I'm service manual diagram are the same but the magenta #15 is different.

They are to the upper left side in vertical positions.
