    E732 AdvC5045

Customer gets E732-0001 every morning upon powering on their AdvC5045. Once they power off and back on it works fine, but the next morning it happens again. The service mode says to check connector, got that.....but the 2nd remedy says Check the power of the Scanner ->whether to performinitialization at start-up? I'm not familiar with this, could someone enlighten me?

I would pull both main controllers out and reseat the RAM on them, clean the connectors and then make sure there are no bent pins going into the riser PCB. You might have to replace MN-CON2
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

Does it make sense that when they wake it up during the day it wakes up just fine but when they wake it up in the morning it gives the error? Im recalling something years ago on the ir3300 copiers that would throw an error and the fix was changing the sleep to low power mode or high power mode......something like that.

Are you talking about turning off auto sleep in service mode or is there something else I'm not seeing.....will it ever go to sleep if this is turned off?
