Keep in mind that when the lift is working properly, it goes clickety-clack, clickety-clack, clickety-clack, ...
    When it's quiet, you've got a problem. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The problem was the machine not resetting after removing jam.

Regardless- The customer has been complaining about jams so I thank you all for your recommendations.
    Thank you

What kind of jams is the customer getting ? My first approach is to differ between no-feed versus half-way-stuck.
In case of the first one i go for cleaning or replacing the rollers and checking lift of the drawers. In case of the old type paperrollers i swap the them for the new ribbed ones w/o much thought.

With half-way-stuck it can be dozen of things, obstructions, stuff bend or broken, faulty fixing assy etc...

And yes, resetting after a jam can be a pain in the butthole...
