ipf8300 sort of a head strike... odd issue

OK, so had some heart aches with this Cannon ipf8300.

    History...

Cleaned Unit as ink was spilled inside printer (not on platen, just from the tilting during shipping)
    Replaced Purge unit
    Replaced both heads
    Replaced Waste Tank

Prints good for the most part, we print drawings fine (20#), for the post part.

When i print on 28# and 36# Coated Bond, i get a random head strike. Ruining the print.
Heavy coverage seems to cause the paper to "wave up" more then it should.
Suction seems good, until the waviness causes the issue.

Using 28# and 36# coated bond from Freedom Paper
    Using Aftermarket ink

I'd try OEM ink and/or paper and see if it still has the same issue.
You may have run into a compatibility issue between the two aftermarket products as they're not specifically designed to work together.
I've had multiple issues with non OEM ink and paper causing print errors (mostly ink).

It could certainly be something else but I'd try that out first and work from there.
