Error : E350, E355, or E748 error codes are displayed on the machine. Counter PCBs and SATA Flash PCBs are no longer available for purchase. As a result, please handle E350 / E355 and E748 in the following manner: E350 /E355 Error Codes: Call the Technical Support Center (1-800-528-2830). E748 Error Codes: Refer to the Service Manual. If the Service Manual states, “Contact to the Sales Companies”, stop and call the Technical Support Center (1-800-528-2830). *NOTE 1: For any of these error codes, do not swap any PCB's from any other machine. Doing so may render both machines unrecoverable. *NOTE 2: Do not use any of the User Mode or Service Mode clears when encountering these error codes. Executing the Service Mode or User Mode clears may render the machine unrecoverable.

WTF your problem? You tell him to initialize all data for what? That will wipe out all user settings, network settings, everything. Bogus info.... Nothing says anything about fax in his post. And if it did have a fax issue, you do a Clear all in fax under service mode. Init all data could create him a headache if he did not print everything out. Not bored...just helping by not sending him down the wrong path. Init all data is the last thing you do..I would clear HDD image partitions first after an ALL CLEAR. Init is a last resort...sometimes necessary though I agree.

Even if you get there (Level 3) - there is not much to be understood. Just a bunch of numbers on a screen.

Myself - I prefer the level 4 (Magician Level)

what is level 4 ???
