    C3480 Error 852

    Got a call on a C3480, when they send a job to print, copier just says Waiting to Print but never does. Log shows NG 852. Manual says code is due to power being turned off during print but tech says machine is not powering off. Any other causes?

    Is this with PDF's only ?

    Turn off spooler on the printer, ADDITIONAL FUNCTION > SYSTEM SETTINGS > NETWORK SETTINGS > USER SPOOLER, set this value to OFF.

    The tech verified the spooler was turned off and he reseated the RB-2A pcb which has been the fix at another customers in the past. He is going back out tomorrow with another RB-2A pcb in hopes that it is just a faulty board, I was looking for more ideas just in case. They have the UFRII driver installed, he tried printing the Test Print from the printer install procedures plus had the customer try to send a few items over....an email and a Word document.

    Yeah, those side pcbs need to be removed and ends cleaned.
    Then re seated straight and level.

    Also check service mode for any additional error codes.
