Make sure RUI in turned on in Additional Functions>System Settings>Remote UI>ON

In Service Mode, to disable the password request for RUI.

    Copier > Option > User...AFN-PSWD to 0.

    Note:
Be sure to reboot the machine , after making this change.

The ability to configure the E-mail / I-fax Settings in the RUI of these models is available, but it will not show up in 'display mode'. The E-mail / I-fax Settings will only display in 'change mode'.

In order to configure the E-mail / I-fax Settings in the RUI, perform the following steps:

    1. Launch the RUI in Internet Explorer , enter printers (http://ip_address).

    2. Log into Administrator Mode in the RUI.

    3. Click on Device > Network on the left pane of the RUI. Look at the TCP/IP settings.

    * The E-mail / I-fax Settings are under the TCP/IP settings. However, the E-mail / I-fax Settings do not display in the list of the TCP/IP settings. You must edit the TCP/IP settings to view them.

    4. Click the [Change] button next to TCP/IP in the main pane of the RUI
**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

Confirm that the Remote UI On/Off setting is set to ‘On’.
You can find the Remote UI On/Off setting and Device Info Settings by pressing
    (*)(Additional Functions) ➞ [System Settings].

Logon Modes of the Remote UI

When you log in to the Remote UI by entering the System Manager ID and System Password or the User ID registered as the System Manager and its password, the
authority of the System Manager is applied to the Remote UI, and other users (End Users) cannot edit the System Settings and other settings restricted to the System
    Manager.
    ■ System Manager Mode
You can access the Remote UI functions with no restrictions.
    ■ End-User Mode
You can access all Remote UI functions except those restricted to the System Manager. Major functions open to End Users and the System Manager are:
•Checking the machine status such as paper or toner amount
•Checking the job status and deleting their own jobs

    * The Send function is available only when the Color Send Kit-Y1 is activated.
    * The Fax function is available only when the Super G3 Fax Board-AG1 is activated
