does anybody out there have canon tech pub on jamming and grinding noise coming from the area of the three way unit on canon IRA C5030
I Had read a bulletin on this problem in the past to the best of my recollection it had something to do with drive assembly bushing for three way unit

The fuser drive assembly and gears grind. There is a tech pub about replacing the sensors in three way unit (above fuser if that is what you are saying) with new style sensors. That has fixed a couple of mine. Medium hard as a couple of sensors are hard to get to. Pins fall out when you take the fuser drive assembly out so put a piece of paper under it.
