    Canon IR C5235i Quality/Colour issue

I have a Canon IR C5235 in a customer of ours and they have a colour/quality problem. The colours tend to be very poor and rather yellow-ish, like a yellow/bright tinge to everything. I run the auto gradiation adjust and the auto colour mismatch adjust. The colours and quality are then ok for a while. But according to the customer this has happened before and then gradually comes back. It had a yellow drum towards the end of last year.
Any ideas guys would be useful?

Just curious if it is Canon supplies and drums? Keep the software updated.

I use test page ten to check my colors. Maybe something in transfer belt unit if drums and developers are all under 100%. For me if I saw something yellowish I would be looking at yellow developer.

Found this on canon website. It looks like a page ten test chart.

The yellow background is showing up across the entire image, and also shows up in the lead and trail edge voids. The background is seen for both copy and print jobs.

    Solution :

Replacing the DC Controller PCB resolved the background issue. The part number for the DC Controller is FM4-9390-000.

Ok thanks, I'll bear that in mind if it comes back in. Maybe I'll change the yellow dev first
