Oce tcs 500 slow printing

hello ,

one of my clients that i work with on a different rang of printers asked me to look to this oce tcs 500 , i never worked on a similar plotter or on canon , but i will try to describe you the problem if anybody could suggests me a solution

the printer looks fine when printing ? no noise or any misfeed ! the plotter is connected to computer unit and it operate fine but when a it receives a job the computer becomes slow and the mouse barely moves AND the printer takes some time to take the job and when it start printing the print head moves very slow .

I would say driver issue or network, the machine is not at fault.
Try printing from your laptop directly to the plotter taking the computer and network out of the equation.
