    RSOK service login

Hi, I am trying to access the service mode on a Canon device through the RSOK. I have tried pressing "u" on my keyboard then pressing 2&8 simultaneously then "u" again but this doesn't log me in. Has anybody had any experience with this?

    Re: RSOK service login

There are a few things needed to use the Remote Operator's Software Kit.
    1. Verify the Remote Operators Kit is installed.
    2. Enable the Remote Operators Kit.

    1. First, you will need to activate the Remote Operator's Kit by entering the License Key or installing the .lic file via the RUI.

To verify the Remote Operator's Kit is installed, press Counter Check, press Check Device Configuration, scroll to the Options and look for the Remote Operator's Software.
If it is listed, then we should be able to connect. If the kit is not listed, please get the LAN and register online to obtain a License Key. Then enter the License Key on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE.

    2. Next, you will need to enable the Remote Operators Kit.

    1. Press Settings/Registration.
    2. If Management Settings is greyed out, then Login as System Manager.
    3. Press Log In, Enter in System Manager ID and Pin. Press Log In.

    4. Press Management Settings > License/Other > Remote Operation Settings, make sure set to On. If you want to use a password, enter a pw and press OK, then Close.

Make sure to reboot the imageRUNNER ADVANCE for this to take effect.
