ir 550 duplex centering

Have a copier that shifts about 5mm from front to back when duplexing. Whether i am placing originals on platten or using adf. Either double sided originals or 1 to 2 sided. Normal one sided copys are fine using platten or adf. Lead and trail edge are fine. I checked simulations and the duplex assy. to see if there was any way of of correcting this problem and couldnt find one. Am i missing something simple thanks for the help.

There is a software adjustment in service mode. Not sure from memory but should be in adjust, feed adj, reg2 (something like that). At the end of the duplex tray is a small motor that aligns every sheet. It is controlled by this adjustment. Hope this helps.
