I don't see where it would do any harm to the machine. Is it a porous media? I hope you're not trying to register the image with another. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Just curious. I have several of my own prints, mostly on metallic paper of one brand or another, that for one reason or another just weren't right... Just thought I'd experiment instead of tossing them. I might stumble across something that looks really cool.

Yes i have found the same thing, if you used the same printer it should be fine if you print on different devices you will get fusing issues, as the toner may have slightly different heating values, it may re melt your previous image and mess up your fuser....
