Hi guys! Any idea what is causing for the ITB to be locked inside and cannot be pull-out even after removing the drum cartridges. After a couple of test it is now giving an error E000070-0000.
Thanks in advance!

Reading these I asume your ITB is FUBAR/Torn/Ripped and STUCK...
Open drawer2, open frontdoor, remove screw(s) of the left panel, remove left panel. Remove screw(s) of the output bin (where your prints come out). Remove outputbin...
Now you're looking at the top of the ITB... If it's a mess, it's scr*wed...

hi there..this might be a stuiped question...when you opened the right door...did u press clips to open right door fully.if you just open it to clips then ITB is still engaged.
Go into service mode and enable to display itb replacement in user mode. Then go to maintenance in user mode and execute it. This will move necessary parts out of way to remove it unless torn belt is hung up
ITB assembly is stuck in the machine and cannot be removed.

The door interlock was popped out of place, not allowing the right door to open properly,
preventing the ITB assembly from being removed.
Please see the photo below for the proper position of the door interlock.
See if the circular tab has popped out of the rectangular space in the arm.

First of all thank you guys for replying to my question here, I really appreciate that.
ITB replacement mode is not working even after saying that i can now replace the ITB.
The Door Interlock is in the proper position when and i think its working fine.
What I did is manually i rotated this motor (see picture attached) to release/re-align the gear to unlock the ITB. after that i pulled out the ITB without a problem. and also after switching the ITB to other machine i found out that the ITB is really faulty, and also on that other machine i also need to rotate that motor to release the ITB. idk if this is a common issue with this machine or am i doing something wrong. I am new in Canon hopefully someone can enlighten me with this issue. Thanks again guys for your inputs and suggestions!

I don't think you're doing something wrong, I asume the ITB from the other machine could be removed normally ?
Removing and ITB in a 20xx or 22xx is as easy as opening the right door, pressing the clips and lowering the door and pulling the ITB out..
I think some axel or something broke in the fauty ITB, thus locking it in place... The mentioned error E070 about the ITB not geting in the right position support that theory.. as does the fact you have to rotate the motor manualy on both printers...

Hi JPiek! Actually i need to rotate the motor manually for both of the machine when removing the other ITB also, that's why i think maybe i'm doing something wrong when pulling out the ITB? I didn't press any clips but i remove the 2 screw that is holding the right door so i can lower it and pulling back the interlock. do you think that is the problem?
I thought you only had the remove-problem with the old one...
You really don't need to remove any scews for the ITB to be removed...
Put 'em back and lower the rightdoor as below..

This is why you run itb replacement before attempting to remove the assembly..obviously something got damaged on itb assembly
