I have an old Canon NP 1215 copier.
Its not printing, white paper, no image at all.
I've installed a new cartridge, paper path seems fine.
Hasn't been used for a while.
I've done the basic maintenance routine.
Any answers welcome, Barrie

hi bro. just try to replace the tranrfer assembly maybe the electrode needle is not good or the primary corona is cut.
I haven't though of the NP1215 in ages. Here are a few possibilities in the order of likelihood:
1) Wrong toner.
2) Loose screws in the S-blade
3) Poor contact at developer bias contacts on the rear frame.
4) Bad HVT (FG1-7414-200).
5) Worn out developer bearings.
6) Magnets broken loose in the developing cylinder.
Can parts even be gotten for this antique? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Hello all,
First post after joining so hopes this is of help.
The NP1215 was classed as obsolete in October 1990 with parts available till July 1996. So any major parts will not be available, however companies like Katun may still do things like rollers, toners, drum etc. As they are a world wide company I would check their web site for local contact and ordering details.

I have one of these that has been sitting in the corner for ages - just turned it on, and get an error code E 202. Does anyone know how to translate that into something meaningful? I want to have one last attempt at this before it hits the dumpster...

Take a look at connector J314 pin 1 on the DC controller. You may have a cold solder joint on that pin. It has somethong to do with the exposure lamp circuit. =^..^=
