    Ira c5051 e027-0100

Well my company purchased a ira c5051 with the simple error of 027 which usually is the coupling of the dev unit which i replaced but did not help. I chose to replace the whole unit but still had the error i even replaced the hooper, dc controller, motor, and the drum driver this is not only another job for me but it became personal after a simple error has given me a huge headache any advice is well taken thanx yall

Did you also check the end of the Developers to make sure that drive coupler wasn't broken?

I think it usually is the coupling. Canon web site mentioned a gear on Set on Hopper, and Drum Developing drive assembly. I would pull the yellow drum and inspect and swap with another color drum to see if code changes since you replaced the yellow drum. I have had blade flip and gears cause issues. pull out the drum units drawer and see if the drives look ok on the drive assembly. I am guessing you have something unusual as you already replaced everything.

E027 0100 05 Title Error in supply with Y Developing Assembly
Description Failure in detection about the changes of ON => OFF =>
ON with the sensor which detects a full rotation of the supply
screw within the specified period of time.
Remedy 1. Check the damage of the Developing Coupling.■
If it’s damaged, replace the Developing Assembly.■
    2. Check the damage of the coupling (with the Developing
Assembly) at the Host Machine side.■
If it’s damaged, remove the Main Drive Unit to replace the
    coupling.■
    3. Turn the motor as a single unit while the Drum/Developing
Assembly is removed to check rotation of the Main Drive
    Unit.■
If it does not rotate, replace the Motor.■
If the above measures do not solve the problem, replace the
    Drum Driver PCB (UN4).■
If there still remains the problem, replace the Main Drive
    Unit.■
    4. Remove the Hopper Unit and manually turn the Supply
    Input Gear to check rotation.■
If it’s results in NG, replace the Hopper Unit.

I would look at the drum encoder sensors, they can get full of dust and cause errors too, you never know.

The Service Manual has a pretty simple walkthrough on removing the hopper units, beginning on page 396 (Chapter 4-133). Follow through all of the steps in order, and you should be able to replace the hopper easily.
