    Canon IR Advance C5051

    Burning up Cyan developer, i have replaced drum and cyan developer, developer twice now worked good for 2,000 pages, developer ghosting can anyone help

    Possibly bad toner. I have had that happen with a few machines. Vacuum out toner hopper and use fresh toner.

    I have had the ghosting effect you described and it was the toner. Also had toner that had chunks in it that caused

    white lines. I took the hoppers completely out and vacuumed to make sure there was no more toner inside. Not

    fun. You will have to change the developer due to contamination.
