    Re: PDL img invalid data

    thx

I know what they are. When no one is printing it generate an error. After data initializing the first thing upon reboot is this error. After firmware update and dsramres (yes Dcon was replaced sometime ago) again, error still comes back.

I was looking for a "something I missed" solution lol. I guess its the brick and brimstone method
    for this one.

on top of that i got some jamming going on...(about to throw this pos overboard)

Did you finally figure out what was creating the issue? I have the exact same thing going on.

that error indicated a bad/corrupt file trying to be printed... did you clear the print que and test with net cable out?

    PDL IMG Invalid Data
    Error Skip
Cause There is data in the TIFF or JPEG images that cannot be processed by the machine.
Remedy Cancel the job and try printing the data again.

    Re: PDL img invalid data

    Sorry for the late response.

This was generated by a point of sales system. Whenever there was cash/credit transaction, the register drawer closes(may not be dependant with the drawer action), it sends a signal out. Randomly one or multiple printers will get this error(across brands). This is a franchised organization with VPN, so sometimes the signal will be generated by a cash register at one branch, it will be detected by machines in other locations...

solution: none known as of this moment. *and its outside scope of mfp hardware, so not really within my jurisdiction.
