IR3245 control panel will not respond
The customer says the machine will work after powering off then on. I will be replacing the hard drive later today. I am concerned that there could be some other cause for this problem. Thank you for any ideas.

Couple of things to look for.
In your power settings, change sleep mode power from "Low" to "High". I've seen that do weird things.
Something else to check is ask if they're using "Power over Ethernet" on their network, and if "Yes" have them fix it so the port the copier is plugged into doesn't have power applied. Canon copiers don't like P.O.E..

If it is just the c/panel touch screen not responsive then you need a pcb for the c/panel. Is the device locked up completely, or just the touch screen?
