    Auto-Center photo from glass

    Hi guys

Sales have apparently been telling a customer that it is possible to put a 4x6 photo on the glass and have the machine auto center and blown up on LTR.

I've tried using copy ratios but it doesn't really work - supposedly this is possible on imagepress c800/850 series?

Not something I've ever tried...most printshops I deal with just import the image into photoshop from a scanner and reprint it at an appropriate size, or some old school guys have a template made up.

    Any ideas?

Canon apparently say it can be done - they seem to forget how to trickle the information down

    It's in manual attachment somewhere

Believe u select Copy or Scan > then select Zoom >Fit to Page 100%

    Copy Menu.jpg

The following copy job information is available.

1 [Original] pane, with the settings for the originals.
2 [Output] pane, with the settings for the copy.
3 [Job] pane, with generic settings for the entire job.
4 Preview pane, to show the results of the settings.
5 Action buttons, to save settings in a template or to indicate subsets.

    SCAN MENU

    or use Zoom Function

When you start a copy job or scan job, you use the zoom function to reduce or enlarge an image.
The print system automatically scales the image according to the size of the page.
To change the zoom factor manually, you can use the + and - buttons of the zoom function. When you have
originals with a custom paper size, you use the glass plate.
The zoom function of the automatic document feeder works different from the zoom function of
    the glass plate.
