I have started noticing this after working on the canons for a short time...

I found the following fix...

for prints

Located from the [Advanced Settings] Button >[Advanced Settings] window[Adjust Toner Volume Used for Color Printing] with drop down options:
1. Printer Default
2. Off (Print with the normal amount of toner.)
3. Level 1(Slightly adjusts (reduces) the amount of toner in areas of strong color when printing.)
4. Level 2 (Adjusts (reduces) the amount of toner overall when printing.)

looking for one for copies...

found an instance.... of issue with green printing as yellow... the concept here might work for other colors...

1. Press Density under the copy screen.
2. Press Adjust on the right hand side of the screen.
3. Press Adjust Each Color.
4. Increase the density for green.

This adjustment allowed the machine to reproduce the light green color on the customer's original as shown below. This can be set up as a quick button, or as the default settings for copying.

other than the options here... are there any options from service mode of lightening colors for copies... or for prints...
