    Hi, I wasn't sure exactly which pcb connectors you would class as the main ones, i assumed you was referring to the one that the network board pushes into, but i have done a Thorough check of all connectors and leads including the ide lead form card to hdd. I have attached an image of all the connectors i have checked,

    Many times during the transport of the used machine, it happened that some component stopped working or throws error code.
    Pull out marked board and clean slot connectors.




    The easiest thing is if you have two identical machine models ...

    Marvelous, i was trying to avoid going down this route. but i saw it coming. i need to look at the manuals for replacing the entire board, have you done one, is it a long job. iv not inspected it properly but i get the feeling its not going to be simple.

    No dude! Just pull out boards and clean the contacts.Especially LANBAR-C PCB (FM2-9165).

    ok sorry i think i misunderstood i thought you was suggesting replacing the board with the one i have spare. Ok i will remove all boards, clean contacts on everything and try. il give it a full tear down and clean.
    i will keep you updated.

    If you know how to access service mode do an MMI clear, reboot. Cross fingers
