    Canon iPF785 false paper jam

Hi. This is my first foray into Canon's wide format machines. I've been servicing HP Designjets for many years but this is the first Canon I've seen. A new customer called about this one, so I thought I would give it a try. What happens is that when you load a roll, it feeds the paper from the roll in (completely through to the front), starts to go through the alignment procedure, then stops and says paper jam. I do not see any sign of paper anywhere. It looks fairly new (very clean inside.... not even much dust) and the paper moves through the machine easily if you release the feed rollers with the blue lever on the top right. I thought there might be a paper sensor on the print carrier, similar to the Designjets, but I can't see how to access it, as it runs pretty close to the paper. Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated.... Thanks! Jeff M.

Techat, Are you able to paste the answer as a screenshot (snipping tool) instead of a PDF? Is anyone else able to answer on here where it doesn't have to be downloaded as a PDF?

The link has expired again, and posting it on here would solve this once and for all. Thanks!
