    Canon C1+ Error code e000012-0001

    This error occurs in the middle of starting up right around same time the stacker goes through it's alignment process. All drums and rollers seem to spin free. Any thoughts on what to check? Thanks in advance.

    M2 = Drum / ITB motor

    E012 There is an error in the drum ITB motor

    -0001 After motor start-up, a lock state is not identified for 1 sec or more.

    Check the photosensitive drum, the ITB area and drum/ITB motor;
    and then, turn off and then on the main power.
    ================================================== ===================================

    An E012-0001 error code is being displayed.

    Example

    It was noticed that the Drum and ITB Assembly were rotating. --- Do u have rotation

    The code only occurs when feeding paper from the Multi-Feed Assembly.
    Does this action apply

    In this case, the Manual Feed Open/Close Switch SW2 was defective. Part Number:FM2-0956-000 SW2 is illustrated below.

    Thanks I did replace the switch but issue is still happening. Not sure exactly which assembly I need to check for movement.

    See if anything is binding up.
