    Canon Ir3045 Faint Copy on Top side

    Hi
    Please help me to solve this strange problem * as Subject )

    pc to print ----- ok
    copy mode ---- Fainted in top side
    scan mode ----- clear ok

    check parts.
    scanner ---- ok ( Pls see attached Image )
    transfer roller ---- ok
    developer cam pressure ----- ok

    please help me find out where is problem.

    Take the copyboard glass off and clean the optics if prints are fine.

    is this copying off the platen glass or from the ADF ?

    optic is already clean. ( Scan is Clear )
    this sample scan file from platen glass.
    same Faint copy issue with ADF.

    If you do a PG 3 test print is this still faint?

    You have made no mention of the drum, looking at your sample i'd say this could be the issue.

    Remove & inspect the dev unit, do you have a even coating of toner?

    pls see PG 3 test Image
    drum have no issue because print is clear ( Already replace with good working canon same mode )
    and developer roller toner coating is even ( Already replace with good working canon same mode )
    but still same problem

    Looks like a toner problem to me. Is it OEM or generic. I've seen a certain generic toner cause that. The problem may begin to migrate further down the page.

    yesterday i change transfer roller.
    and same clean laser unit ( inside and outside )
    there is no toner dust or any foreign particles on laser glass

    on this moment i also think about toner. The last option change toner and cleanup DP Unit
    reinstall new toner pack.
    let us see hopefully problem would be solved.
