    Canon IR3245 feed roller keeper

I have an ir3245 copier that the little plastic keeper broke off of cassette #one. This is the smaller of the three wheels and is kept on by the metal clip. The plastic claw that keeps the tire on broke off. I have the paper feed assembly on my lap but to replace that whole plastic piece looks like a PIA. Anyone else faced with this issue? Is it a standard day-to-day issue?

    TIA.

Re: Canon IR3245 feed roller keeper

I have seen many of these break off.

The "wheel" you are referring to is the pick up roller.

To replace that feed unit is a 30 min job at most.

Refer to the service manual for instructions.
