Canon Cassette Feeding Unit-AE1 IR-2530

Hi!


Every time the machine wakes up from the cassette 3 or 4 a single sheet of paper come to the feed rollers and reports a paper jam. This happens only from the pedestal cassettes.Also sound is strange.
Machine is two months old.Any experience with issue?

I had this same problem on a 5200 and I know it sounds odd but replacing the 1st paper feed assembly fixed the problem. I talked to another tech and he has experienced the same.

Parts catalog for AE1 missing in my database.Are both first and second Paper Pickup Assembly the same? Probably not. They are large and small i believe.
You think the problem is in first?
I think there is something wrong with a solenoid or clutch. Machine is so far that I must necessarily have a spare part with me.
