Canon iR 2520 paper jam when printing 2 sided

Basically, the problem exists only when printing 2 sided. One sided goes without any issues.

Strange thing is, it doesnt report any error for a while after it gets stuck, copier appears like it's printing but no paper comes out printed due paper being stuck but no error report.

Need the jam code but that sensor flag in the picture is a good place to start. That trips a sensor in that assembly that may be dirty. I have had that on the 3225 series. I believe the sensor is at the rear side.

There's no error code, paper just gets stuck, copier works like its printing, and after few minutes it reports paper jam. I reassembled whole copier, every and any tiny gear, cleaned it and used contact spray, it appears the problem is solved but I still don't know what the problem was

I never liked that service mode. You can print a history out that gives you X # of jams and errors. That's where the jam codes are.

We're still talking about 2520? History after machine was last restarted? Pretty sure the only code I'd get is something related to duplex. Can you please specify which report are you thinking of, thanks

I would be looking at the belt up in the 3 way unit if it’s only happening on duplex

Which belt tho . There is a clutch c1 c2 c3 c4 the inner duplex unit
