    ImagePress C6010 AJ2 Finisher Jam 1042

    Hello,

I am getting constantly a paper jam when printing booklets on our AJ2 Finisher. Otherwise the finisher passes the paper correctly. I saw some rusty dust (most likely from the bearings). I did lubricate the bearings of a few rollers but I still get that jam regardless of paper size. Paper stops or It gets stuck in the blue square area. Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thank you !Screenshot 2018-04-18 21.30.45.jpg

    Hi,

You are on the right track;you should also check/lubricate or change the bearings of the rollers at the back side. check for worn shaft.Ifever this is the case, there will not be enough pressure between the rollers and this will cause the jam.

Thank you. I did lubricate the bearings in front and back. Still it didn't help. I did also order new bearings to replace some of them that looked like they are worn badly. I have another finisher that was giving me the 1F58 jam code but the upper delivery part was serviced by lubricating bearings and shafts few weeks ago so I swapped the Saddle Finisher assembly.
Is there anything else I should look in particular other than lubricating and replacing bearings ?

    Thnx

You are right. There is a sticky sponge inside flapper that sticks. It has no function at all. I removed it and solved the problem !

    Thanks
