    #852 error advanced 4200 series

Have a customer that has been getting the printer locking up while processing print jobs, and will get hung up. The customer reboots the device and the print job then completes. There are no error codes in service mode, or alarms, or jams. The only key is when you print the report and all the NG jobs have the error #852. I have replaced the main controller, MMI clear, and reset the device but to no avail. Has anyone encountered this issue before, even on other advanced models? TIA!

    #852
    Cause

-An error occurred because the main power switch was turned OFF while a job was being processed.
-When running several large print jobs, the unit will shut down and reboot the hard drive. The print job log will show the spooled jobs and NG with error #852. The jam history will show power up jams with dashes in the right hand column. The error history may not show the #852 error.
-Document / file specific problem, not able to print causing errors.

    Remedy
-Check and verify that the main power switch is turned ON. Try processing the job again if necessary.
-Turn off spooler on the printer, ADDITIONAL FUNCTION > SYSTEM SETTINGS > NETWORK SETTINGS > USER SPOOLER, set this value to OFF.
-The document / file might have invalid print code that will cause the application to stop sending the printing information to the printer and cause this problem to happen.

I have that document, the spooler was never turned on. I also don't suspect the driver as it prints 9 out of 10. Thinking it may be a memory issue.

I have also ran the hardware test as well, all OK. Going to format and flash device now. BTW I have searched through the web and this forum and can't seem to find anything definitive.
