A plethora of Error Codes on Canon IR 3045

Hey guys,

Helping my dad (a very old-school copytech) with some repair issues he's having on separate Canon IR 3045's. The following Error codes are showing up (on 3 different machines):

1. E000110-0001
2. E000202-0001
3. 735-00010

Any input would be appreciated.

Code: E110-0001
Description:
The scanner motor is faulty.
The scanner motor speed lock signal does not indicate a locked state a specific period of time after the scanner motor has been started.
Remedy:
Replace the laser unit. Replace the DC controller PCB. Check the wiring.

Code: E202-0001
Description:
There is an error in the detection of the CIS home position.
The attempt to detect the home position fails when the CIS is moved forward
Remedy:
Disconnect and then connect the harness connector. Replace the following as necessary: scanner home position sensor, scanner motor, reader controller PCB.

(I'd check and see if the scanner lamp lights up when you power it on... and make sure it moves freely. If it's binding, that could cause a home position error.)

Not finding an E735 listed in the iR3045 manual.

My first suggestion for all these issues would be to remove the rear cover and unplug/reconnect all the connectors in the DC Controller and Main Controller boards. A lot of times, that fixes quite a few errors.
