    IRA C5235 usb ports.

I noticed two usb ports on this machine where a USB drive could be plugged into. I see in the book the one on the control panel is for
firmware downloads. The one on the back panel by the network connector, is that one used to print files from?
I thought there was a way to print from a USB drive connected to that port?
I looked through the manual but did not find any info about that port.

Is this a feature that needs to be installed? Or how can I tell if it is installed and the customer just
did not know how to use it?

I found this note-to-self somewhere... I could swear it's from this forum (Hi Teckat )

You need to enable the USB port as follows:

    1. Select Settings/Registration (login as an administrator) > Preferences > External Interface > USB Settings, set Use USB Device to "On" and Use MEAP Driver for USB Input Device to "Off".
    2. Select Settings/Registration (login as an administrator) > Preferences > Display Settings > Store location Display Settings > Memory Media, and set "On".

    3. Select Settings/Registration > Function Settings > Store/Access Files > Memory Media Settings > Use Scan/Print function, set Use Scan Function and Use Print Function to "On"

Service level 2 ,DSPLY-SW ,UI-MEM set to 1.Think it will only work if you have ps print kit installed

    Teckat and Jpiek,
Thank you for all that information. I will be seeing this machine today just for this concern.
Thanks again for all the settings info, I will apply it to the machine today.
How can I tell if the PS print kit is installed?

I did not see anything about a PS kit under counter. But I followed the instructions and got it to work.

    Thanks a bunch
